Well, there’s a good chance we lost the Presidency on Tuesday… I have tried to keep an optimistic outlook, but it is fading… The all around conservative in the race, my fellow Thompson, is gone… Rudy, the best leader in the race, has dropped out and sold his soul to the McCain underworld. Huckabee is a rampant populist that will have trouble with a segment of the conservative base and certainly the wish-washy, non-religious, moderate American. Mitt Romney is presidential, but sadly will also have trouble with certain segments of the base and the general population.
America’s best chance to escape the radical, anti-American LibDems is a McCain nomination that will pull votes from the general population and the moderate Democrats. This will hinge on a Billary (a.k.a. Mrs. Bill Clinton) nomination… and let’s face it, having her that close to the White House is just downright scary. However, there is so much negative feeling for Billary that sane, moderate Democrats will pull the right lever… This scenario puts many of us into a “hold the nose’ and vote opportunity in November. Granted, given the choice between B.O., Billary, or McCain, I’ll take Mac… He is the least of the three evils…
It will just be sad if it comes to that….
