I am so glad that I grew up in the wonder of the Reagan 80’s and the eye rolling Clinton 90’s. Had I’d grown up in the 60’s & 70’s, as did those currently in control of government and media, I might actually be obsessed with the “unmasking” of Deepthroat. This now elderly man represents a heroic figure of the modern liberal. His questionable acts during the snoozer called Watergate helped the left bring down a Republican President. This triumph was like blood in the water for the LibDems, once they smelled & tasted it; there was no stopping their hunger for power through destruction.
Understanding the media orgy over Deepthroat requires an understanding of the makeup of the so-called mainstream media. First, they are Liberals. This means that they value a system that Ted Nugent referred to as “The Nanny”. A Liberal believes in the common good through forced participation in government controlled social service system. The dirty little secret is that this belief is the façade that covers up the real motivation of liberalism, control of the masses through dependency on those in power. So point one… Liberals want control of you and this country.
The second point to understand is that the LibDems view life as Liberals through the prism of their development. As I mentioned in the opening of this entry this upbringing occurred during the 60’s & 70’s, a time of war and political nuttiness. This group grew up protesting the Vietnam War, hating America, and hell-bent on taking power for those currently in control. For many of these so called enlightened, the focus of evil was then President, Richard Nixon. The toppling of this Republican President solidified in their minds their cause and purpose.
The third point is simple.. These folks are in the positions of soapbox grandeur today. They have the control of the media guns (except the New Media, thank you Rush, Hannity, and the blogosphere). Remember, they are determined to control this country and its people through dependency. To sustain this dependence requires power. The do not have power at present, so they use their main methodology, maneuvering to topple a Republican President (and now a Republican Congress) Their glory days have attention now with the outing of Deepthroat. Their hatred of our President oozes into everything they do… Just imagine if they ever regained power!
So, I am glad to be a product of the 80’s & 90’s. I wasn’t tainted by the diseased 60’s & 70’s, and if the Lord blesses my health and tarries his coming, I’ll be around to see folks from my generation in command. I wonder if it will be as nutty and humorous as it is today?
