Bigotry, Plain and simple

I recently heard a radio talk show host’s idea that unrecognized bigotry exists in this country. It exists in halls of academia, the offices of soup kitchens and social service offices, on back lots in Hollywood, and in old media newsrooms. No, it is not hatred of ethnic groups; alternate sexually preferences; or even traditional groups that are the focus of hate. The group in question is that of everyday Americans. It is the majority of the population. It is the God fearing, tradition loving, hold America above everyone else crowd. Yes ladies & gentlemen, the growing focus of hate and bigotry in our modern society is the conservative Christian.

There is a powerful campaign in this country to undermine God, Christianity, America, and morality. The more public of these campaigns, such as Ten Commandment lawsuits and censorship of the Declaration of Independence in history classes (due to its reference to God), do get minor attention in the so-called mainstream. Thankfully bigotry of this nature can easily be combated by the growing real mainstream voice. It is the incidences that draw little to no attention that are of major concern. The entertainment industry puts out garbage on a weekly basis that “under the breath” ridicules the majority of Americans. The portrayal of conservatives, Christians, and heartland American is down right disgraceful.

Then there is everyday bias in the workplace. As someone who is a member of a rare club, that of a conservative Republican Social Worker, I witness this bigotry on a daily or weekly basis. I have heard it in the planning of activities when one co-worker whispered to another that the religious beliefs of some of our fellow co-workers would “get in the way” of some of the planned activities. I’ve hear it in meetings when Republicans are demonized for their supposed responsibility for the bad conditions faced by every disadvantaged group in our population. Republicans are constantly the “reason” why every pet project of the LibDems are not fully funded. The truth of this idea is much different and will be addressed in a later entry.

Bigotry faced by God-fearing Americans goes much deeper than my poor attempt to define it here…. I have said enough in this attempt to make a plea however, Let us fight the growing bigotry, bias, and hate that targets us, the majority of the American people!

Evil in our time

To quote Sean Hannity, it is “Evil in our time”. I have tried to block out the news reports on the sicko in Colorado who hides in Academia and spews hate about our Country. I can’t help but respond after hearing yet another playing of his venom on Sean’s radio program. This man and his minions represent true evil in our world. The ideology of hate that form the basis of these people is also the ideology of the radical left. It is the hate America, death to America garbage that is the absolute foundation of the movement. It is truly evil, and evil in equality to the radical Islamic ideology that drives terrorists and terroism. The sad thing is that radical liberalism is right here at home and is above our military and homeland security in its confrontation. The other sad point is that the modern Democratic Party is being infected with this sewage. Don’t get me wrong; I know plenty of decent Democrats that love this country. I also know individuals that on the surface are ordinary, but at their core blame America for everything. Radical Liberalism is an infection that is causing the destruction of the Democratic Party. It is up to real Americans, Democrats and Conservatives both, to save this country. We must stand up to those who hate this country. God help them, they have the right to spew their toxic waste about this country. Thankfully we have the right to stand up to them, not listen to them, and as Mr. Hannity says “Defeat Them”

Move Right, STAT!!

A well know actor with ties to my home state of Kentucky and roles as a doc and a con man recently said the following at a news conference for a great initiative he supports.

“A great nation is judged by the way it helps those who cannot help themselves”

I may have “11″ or “12″ things to add or detract to this statement, but I will focus on the most important… A great nation is not judged by the way it helps those who cannot help themselves, It is judged by the freedom it grants its citizens, whether by action or inaction, to help themselves. America is founded on the principles of Christian morals and individual responsibility. What makes American great is that anyone can make anything out of their lives that they choose.

Sorry Doc, your a lot off (or left) on another one!

A couple interesting lessons

I recently finished watching the History Channel’s series on the American Presidents. Although predictably biased concerning Presidents Reagan, Bush 41, and Bush 43, the show was informative about the Nation’s Presidents, especially those we learn little about in elementary school.

I learned a couple of important lessons from the viewing. First, not only was FDR the father of modern liberalism and welfare dependency, he was also the father of liberal takeover of this country through the judiciary. The LibDems of today see the takeover of the judiciary as their best weapon against traditional American values and ideas. Whether it is the obstruction of presidential nominations to the federal bench, or the use of judicial decision in constitutional cases, the hijacking of the judiciary is one of the ways the cancer of liberalism continues to eat at our Country’s core. FDR started the LibDems down this road with his expansion of the Supreme Court during the time of the New (raw) Deal. FDR saw expansion of the court, with nominations of liberal leaning judges, as the way to enact the Raw Deal policies. In doing this FDR, the icon to most liberals, set a precedent we live with today. One final note, FDR was a great president, a great wartime president.

The second thing I learned is how truly fortunate I am to have been born, grown up, and at present live in adulthood at my given time. I was born in 1975; this allowed me to be oblivious to the presidency of perhaps our most decent, yet failed presidents, Jimmy Carter. I was a kid during the Reagan presidency. This allowed me to have the childlike awe of one of our greatest presidents. My youth allowed me to ignore the absurdity of the Clinton years. My adulthood has allowed me to enjoy, admire, and thank God for the presidency of George W. Bush.

Two interesting lessons I’d say!
