Child of the Sixties. This is a mantra carried by many of the adults in our society. In most cases this slogan means, a peace loving, war hating, “can’t we all just get along” Liberal. The scary thing about this fact is that many of them comprise the leadership of our society. We certainly have “children of the sixties” that do not fit this bill (Thank God!). The other disturbing thing is that when to Liberals get together and do what comes naturally, they produce a little Liberal. This Little Liberal grows up with the rhetoric of their parents and sponge like absorption of mainstream media garbage. The end result of this unfortunate blip in American History is the present day LibDem version of the Democratic Party. This is not the party of FDR & JFK. It is the party of Mikey Moore, Bill Clinton, and John Kerry. It is a group of misguided, mislead people who believe that America should subject itself to the whims and will of the world. Consider their manufacturing decades… The Sixties were all about peace & love, doing what felt good, no matter the ethical, moral, or legal nature of the action. The late Sixties, early Seventies, were marked with an Anti-America, Anti-War movement that bordered on treason and disgust. Freedom of Speech certainly applies to this movement; unfortunately decency and love of America did not.
It is through this filter that the modern day LibDems view America, the World, and life in general. They have a candidate that believes that sitting around a table will make Iraq more secure, more quickly. It is a party whose whole doctrine is based on “this feels good, let’s do it”. It is a party that would subject the American dream to the will of politicians and bureaucrats. It is a party that believes its leadership must provide your healthcare and income. It is a party so wrapped up in the notion of “get rid of your worldly possessions” (a scary hippie idea) that they envy the Rich, and therefore seek their destruction and distribution of their wealth. And finally it is a party so wrapped up in their warped ideas about America that they will do or say anything to be in power. Proof? Read John Flipflop Kerry’s positions on the issues, don’t ask him, you won’t get a straight answer!
