This is interesting!

This is Thursday’s post, technical difficulities prevented its posting yesterday.

This is interesting! Here are a couple of points from this week in the continuing saga of “As the Presidential Election Turns”. The first thing of note is the Vietnam Vet who came out recently in support of the Swift Boat Vets. He recalled hearing the voice of an American listing horrible charges against his fellow soldiers to a Congressional Hearing. He heard this statement while being tortured during his stay at the “Hanoi Hilton”, the prison camp of John McCain fame. Imagine his surprise to hear the Swift Boat Vet ad with this speech, and the identified speaker, John F’ing Kerry. Hey LibDems, go ahead; cast your vote for a former torture device!

Another thing of interest from the week is strange rumbling in the political polls. In particular, the Rasmussen poll, http://www.rasmussenreports.com/Presidential_Tracking_Poll.htm, is showing signs of a shift in who American favors on November 2nd. For weeks, Rasmussen has reflected a one to four point lead for Kerry. This week a change is happening. The first three days of the week had the two candidates tied. Today, the President has taken a one-point lead! Many other polls, including Gallup and CNN/USA Today, show the President with a two to four point lead. Let’s hope that my prediction is true and the President receives and keeps a five-point bounce coming out of the convention. Let’s further hope that my 55/45 prediction holds true and the President kicks this wannabe of his podium, back to Massachusetts!

Our lives hang in the balance!

Our lives hang in the balance! We are coming around the turn in the most important Presidential election in my lifetime. One could argue that the 1980 election and the 2000 election were each more important…the case could be made. However, Our very fate rests in the balance of the outcome of this election. With the reelection of the President the push for the defeat of terrorism will continue. With the election of John F’ing Kerry will come the subjugation of our national interest to the U.N. and the halt of preventative actions to stop terrorism before it strikes. Kerry has already promised to “respond” to attacks. I think a President who wants to PREVENT attacks is more ideal, but hey, that’s just me! Enough said…….

What will you do?

What will you do when the curtain closes behind you on November 2? Will you stand and consider the two or three men on the ticket or simply vote your party and leave? Will you look at each name and decide which one sounds better and cast your vote? Will you remember each candidates face and appearance, decide which you can better handle seeing daily on the news, and then cast your vote? Will you vote for the candidate your parent, wife, sister, friend, or neighbor is voting for, simply because they must know what they’re talking about, and you don’t so…. Or will you go into that voting booth prepared to cast your vote for the man who will lead this country in the right way, in all directions. For the past four years President George W. Bush has lead this country through some its most difficult times. He inherited an economic condition that was slipping into recession. In the ninth month of his presidency terrorist hijacked planes and slammed them into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon (and one heroically stopped before it could slam into the White House). Not only did this wake America up to the fact that we are involved in World War (that we have been in for more than a decade), but it cut the throat of the economy in more ways than could be imagined. President Bush launched our first meaningful offensive on the opposite side of the World War. He pushed through tax cuts that in conjunction with American drive and ambition started one of the biggest economic booms in our Nation’s history. And did I mention that under his leadership one of the battles in the new World War, the Global War on Terrorism, we toppled the murderous, evil regime of Saddam Hussein?

In contrast, his opponent, Sen. John Kerry, deems to justify his run for the presidency based on an “I’ll tell you what you want to hear” campaign. He tells us that he will do everything the President has done better and smarter, unless it is a day that he disagrees with what the President has done, then he would do the opposite better and smarter. Kerry’s record is appalling. He has voted or proposed to gut the military and our intelligence operations. He has been for the Battle of Iraq, against it, and is now for it again. Then there are the varying changes on his Vietnam War record. There are now competing sides of this story and the battle lines have been drawn. The Swift Boat Vets are independently running ads and releasing a book detailing their grievances with Sen. Kerry. Visit their web site for information. In addition to all of this, the “Of and For the People”, “fighting for the little guy” campaign of Kerry/Edwards is the most Liberal (as their voting records indicate) and richest ticket for the Presidency in our history.

So whom will you vote for on November 2nd…? One the most successful and honorable Presidents in our Nation’s History or another LibDem ticket full of holes and bending stories?

This ship will self-destruct!

This ship will Self Destruct in about two months! The fun of the next couple of months will be quite enjoyable. At one time Kerry was up an average of 5 to 6 points in most polls. The polls now reflect a two or three point lead for either candidate, depending on the poll. This is in light of the DNC reinvention convention and the Edwards pick as VP. We have yet to see the result of the RNC convention, the main ad blitz by Bush/Cheney 2004, and the debates. The Swift Boat Vets are affecting Kerry’s image in the public and in some parts of the more courageous Lib media. I think Kerry will implode in light of future events. The RNC convention will provide the President with a more noticeable bump than did DNC/Kerry. The debates will be a slugfest that pits the very Presidential, President Bush against a dull, elitist, Massachusetts Liberal, who mostly evokes cheers from bused in crowds and Bush-Haters. Though criticized for his public speaking, The President of the United States will be calm, collected, and be/present more rationale and in command than his opponent. October will find an approximate 55 to 45 polling in the President’s favor.

President Bush, much like President Reagan, stays on message. Criticized recently for not recognizing his audience at the Press Club event in Chicago (I think), the President stayed on message about the War on Terror and Iraq. He merely toned down his speech to compensate for the radically Liberal audience. Kerry stepped up his rhetoric, adjusted his speech, and flip-flopped his positions to hear cheers from the audience.

Much like Dukakis and Mondale, Kerry will end up on the extreme losing end of this race. The only Lib successful against a member of the true and right party in recent memory was William Jefferson Clinton. Clinton, like Kerry, adjusted his message to compensate for his audience. The difference? Clinton is simply a much better at it than Kerry! This ship, (or swift boat) will self-destruct in about two months! Thank Goodness!

It Blows the Mind!

It blows the mind how high on LibDems are on the absurdity scale. I listened yesterday to some of Kerry’s speech to the VFW (thanks to Professor Limbaugh). I’m starting to believe that the Kerry campaign has as its chief strategy a practice of “listen to Bush, say the opposite” and it doesn’t matter what’s said! Kerry spends a portion of his time telling the Veterans how urgent it is to get the soldiers out of Iraq and how he will as by the end of 2005 (if America is dumb enough to elect him). He then proceeds to attack the newly announced, but long time in forming plan to restructure our troop deployment in Europe and Asia. The President announced this plan on Tuesday. The plan itself has been a couple of years in the making, begins in 2006, and takes 10 years!! It is not a hasty withdraw, it is a measured, well planned restructuring. So on the one hand Kerry plans to suck our presence out of the most volatile area in the world, while on the other hand leaving troops in areas that we have “occupied” for 60 years. The plan itself is one of restructuring, not complete removal (unlike Kerry’s plan which calls for our withdrawal from Iraq and the French and Germans magical appearance, Yeah Right!)My wife, ever the Devil’s Advocate, tried to point out that Kerry was placating to the U.N. and Europe by saying that the troops need to remain as it… She could be right, but I don’t think Kerry goes that deep! I think his level of sincerity goes as deep as “hear what Bush says and shout the opposite as if it’s the only possible way to go”. I swear if The President stated that we needed Universal Health care for every American, Kerry would say the he was wrong and the he had a better plan.

What further enrages me is that people that I normally hold in high regard actually think Kerry would be a better president! George W. Bush is the President of the United States of America. If it is the Lord’s will he will be reelected to a second term. I just pray that we survive the overflow of gunk from the LibDems absurdity scale!

Have we forgotten?

Have we forgotten that we are in a global war on terrorism? I grow more and more disgusted with the short-term memory of some in this country. In the aftermath of 9/11 President Bush launched this global war and laid out the plans to the American people. The first battle of this war was to be fought in Afghanistan, home base to Osama Bin Laden and his band of thugs that launched the latest attack on us in the form of 9/11. The President told us that this battle would be one of many. He identified an Axis of Evil, Iraq, Iran, and North Korea, which would be dealt with in the global war. Once Afghanistan was secured, the Battle of Iraq was launched. This battle was delayed for several months as the Left’s need for U.N. approval was satisfied and a last chance (in a string of chances stretching 14 years) was given to Saddam Hussein. Let’s remember that folks on both sides of the political aisle, including Bill Clinton and John Kerry, stated with certain fact that Iraq had Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD’s). All Saddam had to do was account for the weapons or their destruction. A simple turn over of the weapons or evidence of their destruction would have met the U.N. resolutions. Saddam chose to ignore the will of the world and sit in a bunker as time ran out. In response, The U.S. and more than 40 allies launched the Battle of Iraq.

Iraq is not the last battle of the War on Terrorism. It is not a “one and done” but a long drawn out “best of series” that we must win. The scary proposition is that John F’ing Kerry (to quote Rush Limbaugh) will win the general election in November. In doing so, American interest will be subjugated to the U.N. (namely France, Germany, and Russia). In John Kerry you have a politician who cares more about the power of his party and the invitations to international “tea parties” than American sovereignty and power. In George W. Bush you have a President who care more about our defense, our standing as a world power (who never conquers, only liberates), and the power of the American people to make us great.

I will have a son or daughter one day if it is the Lord’s will. I want them to grow up in a country where their safety, chance at success, and freedom is more important than our relationship with France. I pray that the American people will remember that Terrorism is real, the War on Terrorism is necessary, and the Our President must be re-elected to ensure that we win that war!

What a difference!

Before I begin I must apologize for any Kerry/Edwards ads on top of this page, No control when the space is free!

What a difference in beliefs and philosophies! I listened to John Kerry talk to a group recently about the horrible nature of life in this country. As you would imagine he placed the blame on the current administration and discussed how HE would make everyone’s life better once elected.

This morning I spent some time watching the President’s latest campaign ads on www.georgewbush.com. The President always speaks of the American people making America great. He never says that he has made our lives better. He speaks of his vision and the importance of the Chief Executive having such a vision when leading this country. Our President seems to believe that it is his job to protect our lives and our interests. In other words, his job is to make sure we are defended and that the government does nothing to impede any individual’s chance at achieving the American dream. Unlike John Kerry, George W. Bush believes that you achieve greatness, not that you have it handed to you on a silver platter. Maybe I’m idealistic or naïve.. I just feel that things earned mean more than things given… John Kerry believes you will achieve greatness through him.. Our President believes you will achieve your dreams on your own and he will make sure nothing stands in your way.. And people think there’s a choice in November?

Everytime I see it!

Everytime I see it!Its nice to have a bit of humor as my first blog post! Everytime I see a Kerry for President bumper sticker (which isn’t that often) I have to laugh. It amazes me that a segment of our population want to “beat Bush” so bad that they are actually supporting the Kerry/Edwards ticket! Can anyone actually take these two seriously? You don’t know which side of the issue they will be on from day to day. If this was 1996 or even 2000 that might be okay…. But how can anyone in this day and age, in the light of 9/11, vote for anyone that will in anyway be wishywashy about where they stand on anything? For crying out loud, Let’s re-elect and elect people who are decisive and will put this country first…. I say Bush/Cheney 2004 and Guilliani/Rice 2008. I would expound more on why Kerry/Edwards is bad for America, but I’m in a good mood and I don’t want to ruin it! More to come on this later… Maybe I’ll watch some Mass Media later, get in a bad mood, and write more!
